This article outlines the necessary settings for most generic $DAV connections (CalDAV, CardDAV).

Note that not all clients expects exactly the same configuration values. The values named hereunder are valid for the most common clients. When configuring more exotic clients, there can be differences in what the names of the settings are, and if pre-addressing (such as ‘https://’ or ‘dav://’) is required. In case of troubles, please check the documentation for the client in question.

$DAV settings

CalDAV settings:

Setting Name Value
Server Address / Location apps.kolabnow.com
Port Number 443
SSL/TLS (when asked) SSL/TLS
Username Your primary email address

CardDAV settings:

Setting Name Value
Server Address / Location apps.kolabnow.com
Port Number 443
SSL/TLS (when askd) SSL/TLS
Username Your primary email address

Please note, that even when your primary email address is not @kolabnow.com, but is e.g. @mykolab.com or @myprivatedomain.org, you have to connect to the server: apps.kolabnow.com
