My storage is full. What can I do?

People complaint that mail sent to you bounce. When you login to your account you see that your storage is all used up (your quota is showing 100%).
You try deleting mails to free up some space, but the quota still show 100%.
Please do the following:
Find how much storage quota is used indicator
- log in to KolabNow at https://kolabnow.com/apps
- there is a pie-chart underneath your mail-folders with a percentage number next to it
- Write down that number
Clear storage
- log in to KolabNow at https://kolabnow.com/apps
- right-click on a mail folder to open the context menu
- click on compact
- repeat steps 2. & 3. for every folder
- log out
- log in again
- check the storage indicator and compare it to the number you wrote down in the beginning
Make sure this issue won’t appear again
- log in to KolabNow at https://kolabnow.com/apps
- go to Settings -> Preferences -> Server Settings
- uncheck “Flag the message for deletion instead of delete“
- check “Compact Inbox on logout“
- click “Save“
- log out
- log in again
- check the storage indicator and compare it to the number you wrote down in the beginning
Check what folder clogs up your storage
- log in to KolabNow at https://kolabnow.com/apps
- go to Settings -> Folders
- click on a folder
- click on “Click to get folder size”
- note the folder name, if the size seems unexpectedly high
- repeat 3. & 4. & 5 for every folder
- check the folders you wrote down for big mails (attachments etc.), be aware that what is in “Spam” and “Trash” also counts towards your quota.
