In case you did not get around to add your calendars during the setup of your email, please take a look at this guide:

  • Go to the ‘Calendar’ section of Thunderbird
  • Press ‘New calendar’ in the lower left corner of the screen
  • Select ‘On network’ and enter the requested information
    • Your ‘Username’ is your ‘..@<your domain>’ email address
    • The Location is ‘apps.kolabnow.com’
  • Thunderbird will now look up the available CaalDAV calendars in your Kolab Now account and make them available for you.
  • Celebrate that you now have access to your calendars via Thunderbird

Here you can see it done:

NOTE: Even when your primary email address is not @kolabnow.com, but is e.g. @mykolab.com or @myprivatedomain.org, you have to connect to the servers: imap.kolabnow.com and smtp.kolabnow.com.

Also Note: If the calendar folder is not subscribed in IMAP on the server, then Thunderbird will not find the calendar. You can check and change that:

  • Login to the Kolab Now webmail client (‘https://kolabnow.com/apps‘)
  • Go to ‘Settings -> Folders’
  • Find the calendar folder in question and make sure that the switch (after the name) is switched on. This means that the folder is subbscribed

You can see it done here:
